I struggle to enjoy the little things in life, and i struggle to be happy for anyone.
If I am happy for someone it’s because I Feel that I Logically should be, not because I actually am feeling it.
I consider the simple things to be shallow and vain, perhaps my arrogance prevents me from enjoying what I think I am above, or what I think is childish.
But if I do not let myself enjoy the small things then life is almost completely empty, just a sparse collection of big things with miles of desert between..
You help me to appreciate the small things in life, with you and only you I am able to relax and let myself be happy Just because you’re smiling. You put the excitement back into things like new years eve and Christmas, events that i have thought vain and a waste of time for years.
I love you because you allow me to let myself feel enjoyment out of something simple.
